EL PROYECTO "SCHOONER DOLPHIN"

Dolphin is a 90' traditional Staysail Schooner built in Germany in 1943 with Teak Decks and Wood Planked Hull, Galvanized Fastened to Steel Frames.

The boat is undergoing a complete refit begun in June 2002 scheduled for launch in 2007 or 2008 and for completion in 2008 or 2009. When complete the boat will conduct a number of educational and humanitarian missions (see Missions) as well as commercial charters worldwide (see Charters).

Advance bookings for Charters and participation in the restoration and refitting of Dolphin through apprenticeships, training programs, volunteer labor, materials, donations, grants and equity investment (see Ownership) is invited and welcome.
