Dolphin is a 90' Staysail Schooner built in Germany as a work boat in 1943 and converted to sail in 1962 with teak decks and wood planked hull, galvanized fastened to steel frames.

The boat is undergoing a complete refit begun in June 2002 scheduled for launch in Fall 2008 and for completion in 2010. When complete the boat will conduct a number of educational and humanitarian missions including delivering medical aid and relief supplies and conducting environmental sustainability research and action programs world wide in partnership with established charitable foundations, trusts and aid organizations.

Participation in the restoration, refitting and operation of Dolphin through volunteer labor, in kind donations or grants is invited and welcome.
