Dolphin is a 90' traditional design Staysail Schooner built in Germany in 1943 with wood decks and planked hull, galvanized fastened to a steel framework.

The boat is undergoing a complete refit begun in June 2002, scheduled for launch in the summer of 2009 and for completion in 2010 or 2011. When complete the boat will conduct a number of educational and humanitarian projects (see MISSION) including delivering medical aid and relief supplies and conducting environmental sustainability research and action programs world wide in partnership with established charitable foundations, trusts and aid organizations (see OceansWatch) in addition to commercial dive and sailing charters.

Participation in the restoration, refitting and operation of Dolphin through ownership opportunities, volunteer labor, in kind donations or grants is invited and welcome.
